Why are we different?
The band run a silent stage (now you get it!) - electric drums, digital guitar and bass amps, in ear stage monitoring.
This has three key benefits:
1) crystal clear performance every time
2) quicker set up times as our settings are saved
3) complete control over volume...
...so if your venue has a sound limiter we can ALWAYS stay within it and keep your party going all night long!
What do we play?
With decades of parties and events under our belts we have an extensive repertoire covering rock, pop, soul, funk, jazz and dance favourites.

This illustrates most of our standard material - we may well have played something a little more obscure and our repertoire is always expanding - so if you can't see something you want please ask!
What line-ups do you provide?
The band can be flexible to suit all budgets and venue sizes but what never changes is the energy and party we can provide:
Flagship 5 piece band
The full Silent Assassins experience features our skilled and experienced roster of musicians: guitar, bass, drums, keys & synth, lead female singer and backing vocals as standard.
If your event is larger we can expand to accommodate a second male singer and/or sax player.
3 or 4 piece band
A scaled down version of the band featuring drums, female singer, guitar and/or bass. Backing tracks provide the additional instruments.
Ideal if your budget or venue is smaller but you still want that party atmosphere - please note there is less scope to flex setlists due to the backingtracks.
Acoustic duo
Silent Assassin unplugged! Featuring our female lead singer and acoustic guitar the duo can go from upbeat party vibes to sophisticated background music.
The duo can be a perfect addition to a wedding package: duo for aisle and/or drinks + band for the evening!

FAQs
Never booked a band before? Don't worry, we can guide you step by step to help you plan an event your guests will L.O.V.E
How long do you play for? A typical booking would be 2 hours of music split over 2 x 60min or 3 x 40min sets. We can play some background music in between sets or we can liaise with your DJ to arrange a smooth transition. We can play for longer. We can play for less. All quotes will be based on up to 2hrs of playing time - so if you only need us for 1 hour it is still the same cost.
How long do you need to set up? A professional live band usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to load in, set up equipment, and complete a soundcheck. The longer the better! Sometimes you may need us to set up at a specific time and wait until later in the day to play (usually for weddings where everything is happening in the same room)
Does the band provide its own sound equipment? Yes, the band is typically entirely self-contained and brings its own PA system and lighting. If playing venues and festivals the band can run its own stage and In Ear Monitoring and provide a main FOH Left and Right out. Venue and festival sound engineers can connect to our mixer via our router network and mix the FOH sound seperately.
How much space do you need? A standard 4 or 5 piece band requires an area roughly 4 metres wide by 3 metres deep. Our duo and 3 piece line ups can fit into smaller spaces if the above dimensions are not available.
What are the power requirements? The larger band line ups generally need at least 2 to 3 independent 13-amp power sockets near the performance zone. The acoustic duo line up only requires 1 x 13-amp power socket.
Are you awesome? Yes! :) xoxo
